Matthew Gray Gubler

Ex-model Matthew Gray Gubler plays genius Dr. Spencer Reid on the television series Criminal Minds. [By far he is my favorite character on the show.]

I try to remember to time myself when I am working, but I always forget - I get too into what I am doing I guess. It took a long time though - or at least it seems that way - because color makes me take longer, and I am using a laptop mousepad [it sucks, so, so much].

I made this using Gimp, and this is also me messing around with channels. I never really use them but I kind of like the effects they make. And I really like the "cartoon" effect in Gimp. I usually always use it with digital stuff - it makes a nice faded outline in certain places and always makes the work look better - in my opinion anyway.

Why can't I paint hair? It's always so fluffy. Eh. Oh well, makes it look soft I guess. Hehe.
